2019-20 Blackhills FC Financial Aid process

Blackhills FC (BFC) awards aid based on financial need to assist families of players who would not otherwise be able to play club soccer. The amount the club has available to award each year depends on a financial aid budget that is determined by fundraising. This is not an athletic scholarship. Considerations for financial aid include household income, household size, and extreme family circumstances that impact ability to pay. Income guidelines used to determine financial aid include the college State Needs Grant and free and reduced lunch guidelines (USDA Child Nutrition Program Income Guidelines). Special family circumstances are considered in combination with financial need in determining the amount of the award.

 

BFC financial aid processes and criteria change every year. Prior awards and criteria do not apply.

Financial aid does not include uniforms or registration fees.

NOTE: If you are granted financial aid, you are responsible for the difference based on an adjusted payment schedule that will be generated following award.

 

APPLICATION DEADLINES (2019-2020 Season): BU15 – BU19 – April 15, 2019/ALL OTHER APPLICANTS – June 15, 2019. In order to be considered for financial aid, you must submit your application by these deadlines. Send questions about Financial Aid process to: financialaid@blackhillsfc.org.
