Game vs. Northwest Nationals

Results: Loss 4-2

Scorers: Rainey (assisted by Abby) and Abby (free kick)

Quick Summary: We came out strong in the beginning and left the half at a 1-1 tie. In the second half, however, we broke down due to lack of communication and no movement off the ball which resulted in the loss.

Game vs. Mukiteo Lightening

Results: Loss 5-2

Scorers: Ellie (assisted by Rainey) and Bre (assisted by Abby)

Quick Summary: We let the other team score two quick goals in the beginning of the game and were not able to recover. Although we lost I felt the girls played very well together and put up a good fight!

Game vs. Watcom Rangers

Results: Loss 3-1

Scorers: Abby (penalty kick)

Quick Summary: I though the Rangers were the best team that we saw in the tournament and we matched up with them well. The girl's were strong for the full 60 minutes and never let up!

Overall Summary

We were placed in the highest division in the tournament and although we were unable to pull of a win I thought the girls played very well! If we can play with a little more intensity and with this much focus we should do very well in LPTs!

Game vs. Evergreen

Results: Tie 1-1

Scorers: Natalie (assisted by Becca and Miakah)

Quick Summary: We came out sluggish in the first half but picked up the intensity and were able to pull out a tie.

Game vs. Sounders

Result: Loss 5-1

Scorers: Becca (assisted by Abby)

Quick Summary: After ending the half only down 2-0 we were unable to stop the amazing passing game the other team was playing. They were faster, more mobile, and stronger on the ball then we were but it was good to see this level of competition.

Game vs. Pacific Premier

Result: Win 2-1

Scorers: Breanna (assisted by MacKenzie) and Ellie (assisted by Jessica)

Quick Summary: We came out strong and dominated the other team for the entire game. Their only goal was the result of a marking error in the defense but other than that our team played with a lot of intensity. Kudos to Madison Creel who stood in as goalkeeper and played phenomenally.
