Congratulations to Olympia and Capital High Schools for advancing to the State Quarterfinals.

Congratulations to Black Hills, Centralia and Yelm High Schools for making it to the first round of state.

Olympia plays in the Quarterfinal Match Friday May 16, 7:00 PM Ingersoll Stadium. And Capital plays in their Quarterfinal Match Friday, May 16, 5:30 PM Interbay Stadium.

Follow the results of the Local Boys High School Soccer Teams. We have many Blackhills FC players on these teams.

GU 16-19 Registration Meetings

Team registration meetings for the Girls U16, 17 and 18/19 teams will be held on Thursday, May 15th, at Pioneer Park, 7pm.

A non-refundable payment of $200.00 toward the 2008-09 program fee is due the night of registration.

All new players must bring two copies of their birth certificate (one for the team manager and one for the club registrar).

Uniforms orders will be taken at Wembley Soccer Shop between May 15th and May 19th. All orders must be received by the May 19th deadline to receive the club discount.

BU13 AND GU14 PLAYERS NEEDED

We have formed second teams in the following age groups and are looking to add to their rosters:

Boys U13 McCullough: We will be holding additional tryout opportunities during our Team Practices.

Girls U14 Aksdal: We will be holding additional tryout opportunties at during our Team Practices.

Last Chance for Referee Recertification!

DYSA is holding a referee recertification class and exam on Friday, May 16th, 7:00-10:00 pm at Tumwater City Hall. This class is for recertification only. This is the last opportunity for local refs to renew their certification before the WSRC June 1st dealine and the start of summer soccer season. Blackhills Community Soccer Complex Receives Two Grants in Two Months!

On May 2nd, the Blackhills Community Soccer Complex signed the Agreement for the Youth Athletic Grant for $105,000 for power, irrigation, lights and goals! In addition, they just learned that the U.S. Soccer Foundation has selected the Soccer Complex for a $10,000 planning grant for a Master Plan design. These two highly competitive grants show how important the soccer complex is to our community and for our youth soccer players.

The Blackhills Community Soccer Complex relies on your help too. The Youth Athletic Grant requires a $115,000 match. This can come from donated goods and services, but cash donations are needed for supplies and construction work.

In addition, the land for the soccer complex was not donated, it was purchased. There is a mortgage payment that must be paid. The BHCSC needs to raise $26,000 each year to make the land payment. The BHCSC needs your help right now. This is YOUR complex. This is where YOUR children will be playing soccer. The BHCSC is all volunteer run, by soccer parents like you. Please help us make the BHCSC a reality, please donate right now to help with the land payment and the grant match.
